Under the hood of the 2017 Mazda3 is either a standard 155-horsepower or available 184-horsepower SKYACTIV®-G engine. But something new for 2017 is the G-Vectoring Control system, which adjusts engine torque based on steering inputs in order to deliver more responsive steering and ride comfort.
As in previous model years, you'll be able to find the MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system on a full-color touchscreen display. The touchscreen display sits atop the dashboard, making it easier to adjust your eyes from the road to the screen and back. A Commander control knob can also be used for intuitive control.
Many have commented on the Mazda3's sleek and attractive design, so it's good to know that the model hasn't changed much in that department. Still, there are some subtle updates to make note of, like a bolder grille, redesigned bumper on the 5-door model, sliding covered center console and available LED headlights/taillights, all enhancing the model's already stunning design.
